FPS (Feet Per Second)
Absolutely amazing for the last few months I’ve owned it. It is easily customizable with optics or grips and it shoots about 340 fps even after many months of usage.
Battery Type and Capacity
The stock requires you to remove 2 separate pieces and play with the wires to get the battery in properly. However, the charge lasts a good amount of time when not active.
Magazine Capacity
The mag will not empty completely and had to fix the feeding issue by reshaping the plastic part. After the fix, it was great again!

Buying Guide for the Best Electric Airsoft Rifles

Choosing the right electric airsoft rifle can greatly enhance your experience, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player. The key is to understand the various specifications and how they align with your needs and preferences. By focusing on the right specs, you can ensure that you get a rifle that performs well in your preferred playing style and environment.
FPS (Feet Per Second)FPS measures the speed at which a BB is fired from the rifle. This is important because it affects the range and impact of your shots. Lower FPS (200-300) is suitable for close-quarters combat (CQB) where safety and maneuverability are priorities. Medium FPS (300-400) is versatile for both indoor and outdoor play. Higher FPS (400+) is ideal for long-range engagements but may be restricted in some fields for safety reasons. Choose an FPS that matches the type of games you play and the field regulations.
Battery Type and CapacityElectric airsoft rifles are powered by batteries, and the type and capacity of the battery can affect performance and playtime. NiMH batteries are common and affordable, while LiPo batteries offer higher performance and longer life but require more care. Battery capacity, measured in mAh, determines how long you can play before needing a recharge. For casual play, a 1200-1600 mAh battery is usually sufficient. For extended games, consider a higher capacity battery (2000+ mAh). Ensure the battery type is compatible with your rifle and meets your playtime needs.
Gearbox TypeThe gearbox is the heart of an electric airsoft rifle, responsible for firing the BBs. There are different types of gearboxes, with Version 2 and Version 3 being the most common. Version 2 gearboxes are versatile and found in many rifle models, while Version 3 gearboxes are known for their durability and are often used in more robust designs. If you plan to upgrade or customize your rifle, a Version 2 gearbox offers more aftermarket options. Choose a gearbox type that aligns with your performance expectations and potential for upgrades.
Build MaterialThe build material of an airsoft rifle affects its durability, weight, and realism. Plastic-bodied rifles are lightweight and affordable, making them suitable for beginners or younger players. Metal-bodied rifles offer greater durability and a more realistic feel but are heavier and more expensive. Consider how important realism and durability are to you, and whether you prefer a lighter rifle for ease of handling or a heavier one for a more authentic experience.
Hop-Up SystemThe hop-up system in an airsoft rifle adjusts the backspin on the BBs, affecting their range and accuracy. A good hop-up system can significantly improve your shooting performance. Adjustable hop-up systems allow you to fine-tune the backspin for different BB weights and playing conditions. If you value precision and long-range accuracy, look for a rifle with an easily adjustable hop-up system. For casual play, a basic hop-up system may suffice.
Magazine CapacityMagazine capacity determines how many BBs your rifle can hold before needing a reload. Standard magazines hold around 30-100 BBs, while high-capacity magazines can hold 300+ BBs. For fast-paced games where reloading frequently can be a disadvantage, a high-capacity magazine is beneficial. However, for milsim (military simulation) games where realism is prioritized, standard magazines are preferred. Choose a magazine capacity that matches your playing style and the type of games you participate in.
